Jane Henderson Dip. Therapeutic Counselling; Dip. Clinical Supervision MBACP
Jane believes in people’s ability to heal themselves, and over the years has developed her interest in physical and emotional well-being - first as a nurse and midwife, and now as a counsellor and yoga teacher. She has gained over ten years counselling experience in schools, college and the voluntary sector.
She offers person-centred and psycho-dynamic counselling for adults, young people and children, working creatively with an awareness of difference and diversity in order to meet the needs of clients.
Life issues such as anxiety, depression, anger, loss and work-related stress can be difficult to deal with on our own. Counselling is an opportunity to voice and understand your feelings in a supportive, non-judgmental relationship. In this way you can make sense of difficult issues, understand your past, gain insight to the present, and develop self-awareness to make new choices. Counselling supports you to look at things differently and it can help you to feel better about yourself.
Jane is a qualified integrative counsellor, registered and accredited with the BACP. She can help with the following issues: Abuse, Addiction(s), Adoption Issues, Anger Management, Anxiety, Asperger’s Syndrome, Bereavement, Child related issues, Depression, Disability, General counselling, Identity problems, Loss, Relationships, Self Esteem, Self Harm, Spirituality, Stress, Women’s Issues, Work related issues. She offers both short and long-term counselling.
Jane also provides clinical supervision of counsellors.
